Findlay married to Minnie (Marion) Brownlee born Lanark Co. Ontario Canada on July 13 1857 and died in San Fransico Ca. in Dec. 1932. They had the following children: Rachel C. born 1872, Marion (Minnie) born 1875 and Maude Mary born 1879. The 1930 Census for Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, CA. M. Maud Marron(originally transcribed as "Marran"), age 50, born in Canada/immigrated 1895/naturalized, farm operator/Poultry Ranch, Owned the property on Milbrae Avenue. Married (but husband is not on the enumeration). Marion Findlay, age 78, born in Canada/immigrated 1894(1884?)/AL(indicating she was an Alien and not naturalized), to both parents born in Scotland The CA Death certificates online run 1905-1929, then 1940 onward, so if her death was in 1932, it would have to be verified through microfilms, county records or State vital records. But The California Death Index: Margaret M. Marron, born 21 June 1879, died 18 March 1972 in Sonoma Co. Margaret was 96 at the time of her death. A lot of senior citizens that do not have living family, or had no one outside of the family that had known the person is in the area, or still alive, or the family did not wish to pay for one...do not have a published obituary. "Melanimays" found good records in the Sonoma County Recorders Office. The recorded document #1972002837 was a recorded document filed concerning the estate of Margaret Maude Marron. The other recorded documents concern transfer of property from Margaret (grantor) to Patricia J. Wright (grantee). Because three property transfers involved Patricia J. Wright, it would appear she "might" be a family member, or someone Marron wished to have her property. I researched for recorded documents involving Wright, but found no property transfers under her name to another. So, the property could still be in her name, or she had married/changed her name then transfered the property.
