I saw your messages re: Byce, and I have an old illustrated stamped envelope, postmarked 1908, that is from the Cyphers Incubator Co., Buffalo, NY. I have researched the company and learned that the Cyphers company was one of the many that sprang up as a result of Lyman Byce's invention, being founded in Buffalo, NY in 1896.
