The last reference is in the 1967 PCD, lists his wife as Lois L. and says he lived at 41 Myrtle Court. The PCD's list him as employed at Sam's Rendezvous, a bar located at 182 Petaluma Boulevard North. The bar has been gone for many years and the owners have been deceased for many years. WE do not have any leads to anyone who may have known him." This is the email that I got from the Petaluma Historical Society.... Does anyone have any recollection of any of these buildings or Sam's Rendezvous. The Society has been a GREAT help with just this info...it, at least, gives me something to work off of. My Dad, Kenneth Cecil Burns, worked as a card-dealer/"restaurant worker" for years at Sam's. I would love a pic of it if possible - and any info that ANYONE has on it. Thanks!
