Hello List, Were any of you a neighbor or co-worker of Mary "Helen" Cloud in Sonoma or Vallejo, California? She lived at 452 Claudia St. in Sonoma, CA and 202 Alameda St. in Vallejo, CA. I am trying to locate ones who might have known about her life after she left Louisiana. Two neighbors were Frank and Odessa Greengrass, who are now deceased. In Louisiana, she was known as Mary. After she left home in 1938, she was known as Helen. Mary Helen Cloud was born Nov. 21, 1906 OR June 6, 1907 to Melissa Lucretia Rushing and Reuben Ray Cloud in Ashland, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. She had one brother, Henry Cloud, and three sisters, Ermine, Emile and M. L. Cloud. She graduated from college at Northwestern in Natchitoches, Natchitoches Parish, LA. Mary Helen died May 2, 1990 in Vallejo, CA of lung cancer. Her ashes were scattered near the Golden Gate Bridge in San Franciso, CA. Any help will be greatly appreciated. It is a brick wall for sure!
