Thomas Dittemore born August 22, 1792 died August 28, 1866 Elizabeth Dittemore born Oct 22' 1792 died Oct 18, 1875 They had eight children. Luticia born in 1829 married Elisha Moore. They had seven children. Their Daughter, Elizabeth Helen Moore married Lycurgus McPherson, my great grandfather. Lycurgus and Lizzie had thirteen children and took in the children of Lycurgus' brother as well. The Dittemore property was close to Lytton springs. There is a pioneer cemetery close to that but it is now on private property and they don't list any Dittemores on the names that they have in that cemetery. Many of the markers in the old cemeteries were made of wood and have disentegrated over the years. There are some of the Moores buried in Beeson Cemetery in Alexander Valley. It is also possible that there were Dittemores there too but if they had wooden markers the fire that went through there in the 60's burned them off. Many years ago I met a woman named Dittemore who lived in Calistoga. I have tried to locate that family since then without any luck. Do you know how the Dittemores are conected with a family named Huntsinger? Daniel and Sarah Hess Huntsinger. They were contemporary with Thomas and Elizabeth Dittemore.
