I was just looking at a ancestry website someone told me about and it really looks good. There is actually a section of free ancestry resources for Sonoma County. The website is https://sites.google.com/site/freeancestry4u/. If you scroll down towards the bottom you will find a California link. Click on it and it's easy to find the Sonoma County link. Daniel Gober's daughter Mary J. Gober married Lewis Walker. Mary J. Gober Walker died of puerperal fever, age 36 in Crittenden Co Ky on 12 Sep 1874; her daughter Mary P. Walker, age 2 months, died of "Bold Hives" on Sept 30, 1874. Source: Kentucky Death Records 1852-1953. The death record indicated that Lewis Walker was born in Rutherford Co Tenn and Mary J Gober was born in Franklin Co Tn and that Mary J Gober's father was Daniel Gober who was born in Georgia.
