She was born in Lawrence Co, MO. I have tons of info on her. She was married 3 times too. It is Bernard I'm attempting to trace. Their sons were Bernard Bramhall & Zolan Bramhall, both born in MO. Bernard is buried in WA and Zolan is buried in MO. Zolan was married three time, Bernard once. I also have tons of info on these 2 boys. I already had the draft card, so that info was not new to me. Are you related in some way to the Bramhall line . . . ??? Bernard must have not given truthful info when he stated that Candace was his first wife. I'm positive he is "my Bernard". I checked here in MO and do not find the two sons listed under Bramhall (or similar spellings). I also do not find the early census records for your Aunt or Bernard Bramhall (in any of the states you mention). Given that and the fact that Bernard states his marriage to Candace was his first .... something does not seem correct. Was you Aunt born in MO? If so, you haven't given a name, so I can't check the records here. As well as looking at the Draft Card (of April 26, 1942), that William so graciously provided for you, it seems as if you may have an error somewhere along the line. I also found no documentation of your Aunt and a Bernard Bramhall marrying in MO, nor divorcing. You also don't have immigration information on Bernard ... how do you know he was from England? Or perhaps you haven't shared all of the data you do know, and so it is difficult to help at this point. He married my aunt in 1912 (@ Polk Co, OR . . . which I've found to be very odd). I have traced both sons. One born in 1915, one in 1917, both in MO. My aunt remarried in 1921, so divorced Bernard before that date. She was living in OK by then. #2 died about 7 yrs later and she eventually remarried a 3rd time. Lived her remaining yrs (to almost 104) in MO. I'm 99% positive this is "my Bernard Bramhall". I don't know when "my Bernard" immigrated to the US tho. I've traced everything about #2 & #3 and the 2 sons and my mother gave me info before she passed away. I also met one of the sons once, many yrs ago. So that conflicts with what you have, but it may be a mistake ... hard to tell. In the 1940 census, is where it states Bernard and Myrtle are living in Vallejo, Solano, CA. Are you sure you are following the correct Bernard Bramhall? Did your Bernard immigrate to the US in 1905? Do you know what year Bernard married your Aunt? Not certain. She did tell me tho that info was found/seen on Family Search.org . . . Candace was born in OR in 1889 and died in 1939, so that would have made her 50 yrs old. I know that Bernard married his first wife in OR, returned to MO, divorced and then back "west", probably CA. How he met Candace . . . I have no clue . . . same for Myrtle. She was born in MO. I have a birth date of 1884. Bernard and first wife (my aunt) had 2 sons, both born in MO. I've yet to figure out WHY they married in OR. Very odd . . . unless they eloped. Apparently Candace and Bernard moved to Vallejo shortly before she died. I can find NO Bramhalls anywhere in the US listed on Find A Grave for: Bernard, Myrtle or Candace. Coe. She was born in Beaumont Texas and her father settled land he claimed in what appears to be the Government Sanctioned Land Rush of 1889. as best as I can gather. She lived our her life in Berkeley and Albany california. After her divorce about 1948 she worked as a caretaker in trade for a home and pay. She lived for a time in the 1950-s 60's at 30 kenyon way in her daughter's Lucille Aloha Coe Lillefield home in Kensington, CA where her son in law was the fire chief. Dinah L Coward is listed as Dinah Dollarhide on a marriage in Nevada on 7-11-1970, divorced in 1973. There was another marriage to a Grace M. Fairley on 11-15-1975. Checked Family Trees on Ancestry and found these 2 other marriages---Ruth Tingley on 8-1-1931, then Leona Dean on2-12, 1938 in South Dakota.
