ROSS LODGE NOW, YOU PASS AN AREA KNOWN AS TIMBER COVE. IF YOU ARE COMING DOWN HILL FROM THE INN, ABOUT A HALF MILE DOWN ON THE RIGHT THERE IS A SMALL CEMETARY. I COULD SEE IT FROM THE ROAD IN THOSE DAYS, BUT ACCESS TO MY FAVORITE ROCK IS BLOCKED OFF NOW BY A HOUSE SOMEONE BUILT. LAST I WAS THAT WAY, THAT WAS THE ONLY HOUSE. I USED TO WALK THRU THE EDGE OF THE CEMETARY TO GO DOWN AND FISH. THE NAME I NEVER KNEW BUT MAYBE THIS IS YOUR SEAVIEW CEMETARY. GOOD LUCK.

I just got this email and thought it was important that you two connect re: the Santa Rosa Rural Cem, and maybe some unknown burials you may be able to account for. The text follows: My name is Bonnie Paul and I live in Fremont e-mail [email protected] I was born and raised in Santa Rosa . I remember visiting the Rural Cemetery as a child in the 50's with my mothers half sister Edna b 1892. Our plot is v18 in the Stanley section ( the McGregor family). When I became interested in genealogy, I revisted the cemetery. After a full day of weeding, we were able to see the three remaining tombstones. It looks as if someone took the time to reassemble one that was quite damaged. I recently spent a day scrubbing the tombstones and was really pleased with the results! I would like to put a plaque with the names of the other four members of the familly who are buried there. Do you know if that is a possibility.
