A native of Mass- chusetts, she had been a resident of Vallejo for five years. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Bates; a brother, Charles W. Bates of San Bern- ardino; and an uncle, William Wagner of Willowbrook. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Chis- holm and Dickey Funeral Home.
