I could not locate an obituary for him/her. However, I found a Shelby I. Lillard, born on Feb. 13, 1920 in Solano County, listed in the California Birth Index. Mother's maiden name is Hall. Nellie Lillard, age 47, is listed in the California Death Index. She died on May 4, 1920 in Yolo County. Presumably, this is the Mrs. Nellie E. Lillard listed in the 1918 Vallejo city directory at the same address as Shelby Lillard and the N E Lillard listed in the 1910 U. S. Federal Census as Shelby Lillard's mother.
