Johnson VALLEJO -- Bertha M. Johnson, 66, died Thursday in a local hospital after a long illness. A native of Marshall, Texas, she lived in Vallejo for eight years. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Edmond Johnson, a daughter, Alta M. King of Tyler; a son, James R. King of Tyler; and one grandchild. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Trinity Church of God in Christ with the Rev. J.R. Manning officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Tyler.
