S. Swaim Dies at 83 Filson S. Swaim, 83, of 449 Wallace Ave., died Wednes- day in a Vallejo hospital after a long illness. A native of Iowa, he was a Vallejo resident for 20 years. He was a retired la- borer at Kaiser steel mills in Napa, where he was em- ployed 50 years. He is survived by his widow, Lula; seven sons, David of Vallejo, and Clarence, Raymond, Alford, Leonard, Orlando and Elmer, all of Los Angeles, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. a funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Skyview Funeral Chapel.
