Dalton, 69, 618A Flor- ida street, died yesterday at her home after an extended illness. A native of Basin Springs, Tex., Mrs. Dalton had lived in Vallejo for the past eight years. Surviving are her husband, William Henry Dalton, and six sons, Arthur Dalton of San Francisco; Clarence J. Dalton of Denair, Calif.; Clyde E. Dalton of Napa; Orval M. Dalton of Fort Smith, Ark.; Noel B. Dalton of Oklahoma, and Marvin P. Dal- ton with the U. S. Army. Funeral services are pending at Chisholm and Dickey Funeral home." Following is a transcript of an obituary from the Vallejo Times-Herald, dated Jul. 8, 1944: "Essie Dalton's Funeral Sunday Funeral services for Essie L. Dalton, who died July 6 at her home at 618-A Florida street, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 p. m. from the Chisholm and Dickey Funeral Home. Rev. Jesse Parker will officiate.
