BLEAKLEY PASSES AWAY -------------- Succumbing to an extended illness, Mrs. Amelia Bleakley, 60, well known local resident, died last night at the Vallejo General hospital shortly after 1 o'clock. Deceased was the wife of John R. Bleakley, retired Mare Island shipwright who resides at 321 Tennessee street. She was a native of England but had lived in this city for many years. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. J. Erler of Vallejo and Mrs. O. A. Skinner of Riverside, and a son, John R. Bleakley Jr. of Vallejo. A brother and three sisters residing in England also survive. Funeral services are pending at the Chisholm and Dickey fu- neral home." Following is a transcript of an obituary from the Vallejo Times-Herald, dated Apr. 29, 1936: "VITAL STATISTICS ------------------ DIED BLEAKLEY--In Vallejo, Califor- nia, April 27, 1936, Mrs. Amelia Bleakley, dearly beloved wife of John R. Bleakley, and loving mother of Mrs. R. J. Erler of Vallejo, Mrs. O. A. Skinner of Riverside, and John R. Bleakley, Jr., of Vallejo. A native of Eng- land, aged 60. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral at 2 p. m. Thursday, April 30, at the Chisholm and Dickey Funeral Home, with Rev.
