An- derson, 90, died Tuesday in a local hospital following a brief illness. He was a native Charleston, W.Va. and lived in Vallejo for 45 years. He was employed for 14 years as an apprentice instructor at Mare Island Naval Shipyard and was a real estate saleman for five years. He served for two years in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Vallejo Senior Citizens, the In- dependent Senior Citizens Club, Sen- ior Citizens Rainbow Circle, the Nite Owls, the Nite Caps, NARFE, Carl Kreh Post No. 1123, VFW and the Machinist Union, Local No. 252. He is survived by one son, John Anderson of Spring Valley; one sis- ter, Lillian McKnight of West Vir- ginia; one brother, Leon of Cincin- natti, Ohio; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Fri- day at Twin Chapels Mortuary with Carl Kreh Post No. 1123, VFW of- ficiating. Burial will be private. Friends may call after noon Thurs- day at the mortuary.
