Leo Dunphy VALLEJO -- J. Leo Dunphy, 85, died Wednesday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. A lifelong Vallejo resident, he worked as an electrician estimator for 38 years at Mare Island Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1958. He was a past exalted ruler of Vallejo Lodge No. 559, B.P.O.E.; a past state vice president of B.P.O.E. He also served on the Veterans Service Committee of the Elks and as assistant ritual coach for many years. He is survived by his wife, Leora; a sister, Grace Myers of San Francisco; and a brother, Ralph of Vallejo. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. Vallejo Lodge No. 559, B.P.O.E. will hold memorial services at 7:30 p.m. today to be followed by the rosary at 8 p.m. at Colonial Cha- pels. Private entombment will be in All Soul's Mausoleum.
