Not sure if Sam Marchi is related but he was last living in Livermore, CA in an assisted living facility I believe. His wife Thelma had passed away a few years ago. They were originally from San Leandro. He was up in age so I haven't checked to see if he is still around but if he is related to your Maria it might be a shot. There are 87 Vitali's listed at www.whitepages.com in California although Frank isn't one of them. He used to own the bar at Collinsville just down the road from Bird's Landing with his wife whose name escapes me at the moment. She has passed away and is buried in Collinsville Cemetery.
