She was born in San Francisco and lived in Vallejo; she was an administrative assistant at Travis Air Force Base for 25 years, retiring in 1974. Mrs. Waterman enjoyed spending time with her family and reading. Her husband, Alvin, preceded her in death in 1974. Survivors include her sons, Wayne (Baylonida) of Vallejo; Rex (Jackie) of American Canyon; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home in Vallejo. Her ashes will be scattered at sea.
