Granger, 77, died Sunday at home following a long illness. A native of Fresno, Mr. Granger was employed as wel- fare director for Solano County from 1963 un- til his retirement in 1979. Mr. Granger served in the U. S. Navy dur- ing World War II. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen; two daughters, Sarah of Oregon and Emily of Vallejo; and son, Eric of Oregon. At his request, no services will be held. His body will be donated to science with arrange- ments under the direction of Twin Chapels Mortuary."
