    1. [CASOLANO] Gilbert E. HARRIS - Burial info
    2. Sue J
    3. Hi List, I found the obit for Gilbert E. HARRIS who was living in Fairfield. He was originally from Plattsburg, NY. He worked for United Airlines. Gilbert passed away on 15 April 2003. The death notice was in a Plattsburg newspaper. I haven't found an obit from CA yet. The NY paper only said that there would be a memorial service held on 26 July 2003. There is no mention as to the name and place of cemetery. I don't know if he was buried in Clinton County, NY or in Fairfield. I have tried the Genweb site for Solano County without any luck. His info has not been posted yet on Find A Grave. Any help would be greatly appreciated. With this notice being written in NY, there is no mention of a funeral home so my guess is that he was buried in the Fairfield area. He originally lived in San Francisco when he moved to CA before moving to Fairfield. Sue macduff@embarqmail.com

A particularly sad feature of his death was the fact that his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, and his brothers were summoned to his bed- side early last week when it was fear- ed that the attack of pneumonia from which he was suffering would end fa- tally. He apparently rallied, how- ever, and they left for Colusa when he was reported out of danger. Upon their arrival in Colusa they found a message notifying them of his death."
