I appreciate it. I just need to find out if he was in Vallejo in 1908, 1909 or 1912. If there are city directories for those years, that might be the place to look. Solano Public Library's city directories only went back to 1920. By 1914, the family was in Santa Ana California. Prior to that, they were in San Francisco, and maybe in Vallejo. I do have alot of other information on the him and the family. Jeanne Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. He was born on June 29, 1881 in southern France - probably in either Oloron-St.-Marie or Pau in Basses Pyerenees. I contacetd the Solano Public Library and was told their city directories go back as far as 1920, so they could not do a look-up for me as the years in question are before that. I believe he owned a laundry for a short time in Vallejo. The years in question that I have not been able to document his whereabouts are 1908, 1909 and 1912. I am wondering if he might have been in Vallejo during any of those years. Are there city directories for Vallejo that someone might be able to check those years?
