In the book 'Genealogy of the Sharpless Family' by Gilbert Cope, published 1887 the following Casner family is found. Rosetta Epperson (daughter of Nancy Heaton and Hezekiah Epperson) was born 8-11-1845. On 12-28-1865 she married Wiliam Casner. They resided in Nebraska and were engaged in farming and stock raising. Chilren of Rosetta and William Casner were: (1) Henry W. Casner (b.1-6-1867) (2) Robert L. Casner (b.4-13-1869) (3) Edith E. Casner (b.1-11-1873) If anyone knows which Casner line Williams belongs to or if you have information on the ancestors or descendants of this Casner family, please post here. I am endeavoring to tie this family into a particular Casner line.
