    1. Roll Call
    2. I think it's time for a ROLL CALL. And, since I've never posted to this list I will start it. I hope others will do the same so we can make some connections. My Casners are as follows. Enoch (Enic) Wilson CASNER, went most often by Wilson or Wils. Born 4/9/1832 in Tioga County, PA. Died in Benton County, Iowa 1/13/1922       married 8/3/1861 to Elizabeth May LAPP, born 1843 in Canada. Died Benton County, Iowa on 5/2/1926. Immediately after their wedding Enic and Eliz. moved to Benton County and lived out their lives there. They were the parents of 10 children. 3 baby girls who died as infants Ida Mae Casner married Chester BELL Arnetta Casner married Bert HALL Ione Casner married Oscar Levi AURNER Frank Casner married Floretta EVANS Belle Casner married to Guy MCCOY Elizabeth Casner married Frank HARRISON Lafayette Casner never married died at age 21. Now the suspected parents of Enic and Elizabeth. I do NOT have concrete proof yet of these connections. Enic was the son of: Cornelius CASNER and his unknown 1st wife. They had at least one other son Thomas Casner. Cornelius remarried to Rachel REMP, born 8/25/1823 and died 1903 back in PA. They had the following children Hiram 1848 Martha 1850 Cornelius 1852 Rachel 1854 Clara 1860 married George HILLER Millard 1861 married Mary Elizabeth BECKER. Cornelius was killed by Osage Indiana near Leavenworth Kansas on June 7, either 1867 or 1868. After his death Rachel returned to PA with the children. Elizabeth was the daughter of: Andrew LAPP and Anna KOPP, a lot of people are saying her name was Anna CIPP. I do have proof of the name Kopp. Anna and Andrew had other children Susan b abt 1824 married Conrad MITCHELL Mary married Levi LANDON Abram married Maria DeWolf HARNETT Anna Louisa married Edward WILL Andrew Robert. Now Elizabeth and at least some of the other children were born in Canada. They were listed however as American citizens. They returned to the US in 1854. I believe that Andrew and Anna both died in PA. Any connections out there? Sheri Jensen Cedar Rapids, Iowa
