I recently came across information where a Sarah M. Casner (b.2-15-1851) in Richland Township, Washington Co., AR married Orrin Lemuel Chapman on 11-14-1869 in Greenwood, KS. Sarah died 3-25-1886 in Bethany, Harrison Co., MO. They had three children (Rubin, Minnie, Thomas). I am inclined to think that the above Sara M. Casner is one fo the daughters of William John S. Casner (b1817) and Elizabeth Sherrod (b4-26-1819) as they are on the census in Washington Co., AR in 1850. Elizabeth and her children are shown on the 1860 Washington Co., AR census. William dies in 11-1860. Does anyone have confirmation that these two Sara Casner people are one and the same. Would like to hear from you.
