According to my information Franklin was born in 1851. I haven't done further research on him yet. Elizabeth (Porter) Casner died in April of either 1853 or 1858. The year of death on her gravestone is very difficult to read. I belive it is an eight, but it could be a three. Jethro did remarry to Margaret as shown in the 1860 census. Jethro and Elizabeth were my great-great grandparents. However I am stuck with them and can't get any earlier. I have reason to believe that Jethro's father was Jacob Casner who was an immigrant from England in either the late 1700s or early 1800, but I can't confirm that. If you have any information on Jethro's parents I would like to correspond with you. Am also willing to share any information I have on this line.
