The following is the obituary appearing in the Corvallis (OR) Gazette Times on 1-6-1970, for Ida Carol Casner, wife of George Henry Casner. Can someone tell me who the parents of George Henry Casner might be? Were they out of KS or MO? "Ida Carol Casner, 82, Route 1, Monmouth, died Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital. The daughter of William and Ann Cash Dabbs, she was born 12-29-1887 at Thayer, MO. In 1916 she was married to George Henry Casner at Kansas City, KS. The couple made their home in Long Beach, California for 40 years. Casner died in 1955, and 1 1/2 years ago Mrs. Casner moved to Oregon to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Robert Chapman of Monmouth. Besides her daughter, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Helen Haddock, Oklahoma; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Casner's remains are being sent to San Pedro, California, for final rites by the DeMoss-Durdan Funeral Home."
