Hi Liz, I am researching the following CASNER's in PA: Solomon CASNER b 8 May 1800 Blair Co, PA. Married Susanna Dilling b 3 Feb 1806 Clover Creek, Blair Co, PA. I am descended through their daughter Anna CASNER (b 24 Feb 1833) and I believe (but have not verified) that their other children were Sophia, Susanna, John, Elizabeth, and Rebecca. I have information that indicates that Solomon CASNER's father was John Casner (b 1756 Lancaster Co), that his grandfather was also John CASNER (b 1732 near Lewistown, Mifflin Co, PA0 , and that his great-grandfather was either John or Jacob CASNER (born 1705 Germany, arrived at Phila in early 1700's), but I have not verified any of this. Have found stories telling that Solomon's grandfather was kidnapped and raised by Indians, and married one . Solomon's father also supposedly married an indian girl by the name of Magdalena. They were supposed to have had 5 children, but I have not found any information on any other than Solomon. Where in PA were your CASNER's from?
