Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.casner/113/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm searching for information on John McLaughlin and his wife, Sarah Casner. They lived in Mifflin County, PA. John immigrated from Ireland. He was born 1759 and died in 1812. Buried in Juniata Co, PA. His wife, Sarah, lived to be 92 years old. Born 1768 and died 1860. (I have conflicting information on where she died and is buried.) John and Sarah had 5 children: 1. George (no information), 2. John (may have moved to Earlville, IL and took Sarah with him. She may have died in Earlville and is buried there. DAR records show she is buried in Juniata.), 3. Jacob (may have stayed in Spruce Hill. S. McLaughlin, age 80, listed in home in 1850 census), 4. Martin (moved to Indiana), and a 5. Daughter (unknown name, probably born before 1800). Any information will be appreciated. I can help with research on Martin McLaughlin.

I know this may be to much to hope for but do you know when and where Edna and John Arnold were married? They where obviously divorced before 1939. I don't remember if anyone actually said when John moved to Montana, only that "John was very upset and depressed by what happened and allowed his oldest brother James to convince him to move." John never remarried. Thank you again for what you've given me, it will help fill in some holes. If you know or can find out any more information conerning Edna and John it would be appreciated also. 3. Alberta BEARD CASNER was the daughter of William and Amanda BOATRIGHT BEARD. I am trying to locate anyone working on her family. They moved away from central Texas after William BEARD died in about 1875 to 1880 and I have been able to find very little about them. I think they lived in DeWitt Co., Texas and then moved to Oklahoma. Any information would be appreciated. Jackie Morgan --------------------------------- Yahoo!
