This article was photocopied at the Siskiyou County Historical Society from their scrapbook collection. **************************************************************************************************************************** LARGE CROWD ATTENDS THE ANNUAL SISKIYOU COUNTY PICNIC (Probably 1942) The twenty-third annual reunion of the Siskiyou Modoc Lassen Society was held on May 16 at MacArthur (formerly Mosswood) Park, Oakland. Many residents and former residents of Siskiyou County were in attendance. Because the weather at this time of the year is so uncertain it has been decided to have the picnic next year on the first Sunday in June, and arrangements have been made to secure the park for that day.
