I'm looking for information on Lillie M Pride b. abt. 1871 in Virginia, the daughter of Margaret Pride wife of Baruch Pride. I believe by her age in the 1880 census she was the daughter of Margaret who was married before she married Baruch in 1874 in Washington county, Ohio. After the 1880 census there was no more information about Lillie.. In the summer of 2006 my husband and I made a trip up to Sierra City to see the place where my father was born and raised. I visited the cemetery and I could not find any evedents of the Prides had ever been buried there. By the Baruch's death certificate says that he was buried in the cemetery. My father said that when you go into the gate and head straight up the hill all the way back to the fence is the family plot. Well I walked all the way up there and we walked the whole cemetery and didn't find them anywhere's, My greatgrandfather was a prominent member of the Sierra City and you would think there would be more information about him then the census reports and death certificates. If anyone knows any information on what I have put in this email.. I also have other grandparent's that also have graves in the same cemetery and I found them. I would appreciate any information or where to research this family. I know there has to be some history also of this family, since my grgrandfather was the owner of the Pride Mine at Bassett Station. Thanks for any information Larinda
