Hi List, I am looking for obituary on a husband and wife, or, at least where they are buried. John. H. RIXEY b. 4 May 1875 in MO and died 29 Dec. 1964 in Downieville. Gladys (nee Tuttle) RIXEY b. 15 July 1891 Utah and died 8 June 1953 in Downieville. I have checked the Utah burials for SLC and I can only find mention of her parents. I don't know if John was Mormon but Gladys was. If John wasn't, I don't know if Gladys changed to his church when they got married. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I could not find anything in the newspaper website I have for all 50 states. I guess they don't have that time period available yet. If I find where they are buried, I might be able to find where my gr. uncle and his wife are buried. His wife was sister to Gladys. They also died in Downieville. Sue [email protected]
