Wolcott was living with her grandmother Sarah J. Curtiss in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo, MI. Sarah J. Curtiss, head household, b. NY, 66. Sarah J. Wolcott, granddau, b. MI, 32, seamstress. Henry O. Wolcott, great grandson, b. MI, 12. John Remo, boarder. I didn't find the connection between Sarah Wolcott and Sarah Johnson but the following is what I did find in Sierra. In 1900 Sarah J. Johnson was living in Sierra, Sierra, CA. Sarah J. Johnson, b. MI Sept. 1847, had given birth to two children but only one alive, no occupation. In 1910 Sarah was living in Sierra. Sarah J. Johnson, b. MI, 62, widow, 2/1 children, no occ. Christopher Darins, boarder. In 1920 Sarah was living in Sierra. Sarah J. Johnson, b. MI, 72, widow, 72, no occ. Christopher H. Darius, boarder. I didn't find Sarah's death info but I suggest you contact Sierra County Clerk-REcorder, sierracounty.ws/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_... I looked for her burial in findagrave.com, interment.com and U.S. Tombstones but didn't find her listed. Not all of the cemeteries are indexed. Successful Searching!
