My mother's brother Vincent left Montana in the late 1920's. He died about the 3 of July 1942. We were told he had been buried in California. Don't know if they didn't know who to notify at the time, but the Phillips County News on July 30, 1942 said he died early in July in California, buried and remains were disinterred and brought to Malta for burial in the family plot. The funeral home in Malta did not have any information as to him being brought from California. I would like to know if someone could see if the funeral home there had any information. Or tell me the name of the funeral home and address so I could contact them. I would think there would have been some kind of record to have him removed and sent to Montana. Voting register is how I found where he had been at least in 1936 and 1938. I would appreciate any help in trying to find out more about him.
