Sharkey was originally a Barry - this is the name I am interested in and am wondering if you might have Mary's Barry relatives. Specifically, I am looking for a Richard Barry, born abt 1840 in New York and then was in this area (and Yuba County) abt 1870. There is also an Ann Barry who married a Lawrence Daly in 1859 in Sierra County. Do either of these names connect with your Mary?
