They came from Maine around 1856 and were in Sierra Couty until about 1862. Albert Ignatious operated a sawmill somewhere in Sierra County until 1862. James Armor worked there. They may have also mined because they had been miners and farmers in Maine. They moved from CA to Washington State approximately 1862.
