He was born in Wales. His wife Susan sons Thomas and John and daughter Margret (Maggie) are in the 1870 census as living in Sears California. Seth was a miner. He disappeared for the radar after 1860 (Minersville PA) John was born in California in 1865. Susan married miner David Harris by 1878 and is in 1880 census. Can you tell me of cemeteries in this area. I do not know where Sierraville is as compared to Sears. I am sure Seth is in Sierra County. The Sierra City cemetery is located in down town Sierra City. It is located on aside of a hill and need very good walking shoes to walk around the graveyard. It is a very old cemetery. If have any problems finding it the town people our very helpful. I went there last year. It is about 15 miles north of Donnieville Calif. It is a very quaint little town on the side of a mountain. It is located in Sierra County. Some of the records have been transcribed on genweb.com go to the state of California and then to the county list.
