My Porter and Rose families were in this area (Goodyears Bar, Pike, Nevada City, Plum Valley) that I know of for certain 1866 to as late as 1936 for some of the men. The women left earlier for Alamdea County and San Francisco. I'm having a difficult time locating records on them.
