My parents own the property where Our House was located in Pike City, CA. I am trying to get additional information regarding what was located there in the 1800s. I grew up in the house that is there now but it was built in the 1960s. I am very interested in any information regarding the family that lived there and the history behind it. I have heard there was a ranch there and possibly a stagecoach stop/inn. There also may have been a blacksmith shop there as well. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
