Any Hensel Researchers out there? I am researching some different branches of my Hensel family and believe that there may be a Shasta Co., CA connection. I would appreciate any help proving or disproving the connection between the following individuals. My evidence is pretty weak so far. On the Social Security Death Index, there is the following entry: JOHN HENSEL b. 16 Jan 1902 d. Jul 1979 Last Residence: 96001 (Redding, Shasta, CA) (No Location Given) 543-05-7867 Issued: Oregon (Before 1951) I believe he could be the son of a John L. Hensel that is on the Tulare Co., CA census as follows: 1910 Census of Tulare County, California - Enumneration District No. 187 - Alila 187 2 02A 5 26 28 HENSEL John L. 40, Div. KS OH OH Laborer, 187 2 02A 6 26 28 HENSEL Viste R. d. 12, CA KS CA 187 2 02A 7 26 28 HENSEL Robert L. s. 10, CA KS CA 187 2 02A 8 26 28 HENSEL John D. s. 8, CA KS CA I believe John L. is the son of a Levi Hensel, born in Ohio who migrated to Illinois, Kansas, and Colorado. I have quite a bit of information on Levi and his ancestors and cousins to share. I have a Hensel logbook of names and vital static dates that has hundreds of Hensel names. Please contact me if you are a Hensel researcher and we may be able to find a connection. Thanks. Linda the_guard@msn.com
