Does someone have access to the microfilm of the newspaper, The Shasta Courier? I found an obituary listing in the Ancestry.com listing of Shasta County Deaths from that newspaper for a gg-aunt of mine that might give me some leads as to her mother. The listing gave this information...Merrimac Brown, 17, died Oak Run, 7/1/1898, obit 7/13/1898. I also need a lookup for Jacob Cooper, d. Parkville Jan. 28, 1899. The Lingenfelter files have him listed as a son of Cunningham Cooper, but I have found no record of him in any of the records of Cunningham's family. I am trying to prove or disprove this.
