Hello Jean, There is a Cow Creek about 10 miles east of Redding. It runs near the communities of Palo Cedro and Bella Vista. It joins the Sacramento River near Anderson. It follows Highway 299 to the northeast. I have never heard of Pengrove, but there is a Pine Grove along I-5 north of Redding and just south of Project City.
