Hi Corajanee, I want to thank you for perservering and putting all the information that you have about Shasta County and especially Burney on this website. Although I know very little about Shasta County, (I relocated here in the late 70's,) I joined this list in case I could help anyone out there with a Shasta County question because I have gleaned so much off of the other Rootsweb lists that I belong to. I live about 55 miles from Redding, the county seat, and it is a long windy road but surprisingly I make this drive at least twice a month. I would like to point out to everyone that you are posting a list that is accurate as of a certain date. Could you post what that date is, because I have lost many a dear friend in the last 10 years that I don't see on your list and I don't want anyone to miss a name that is indeed here but buried in the last decade or so and maybe not included in your list. Again thanks for all the information that you post about this "still kinda like an outback" "but oh so beautiful and a great place to live and raise your kids" place, sometimes referred to as the Intermountain region of Shasta County.
