Her obit was not published until May of 2006: Redding Record Searchlight (CA) - May 1, 2006 Floydeen Cook REDDING -- Floydeen "Trudy" Cook, 86, of Redding died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. Private services will be held. Born May 5, 1919, in Seattle, she moved to Shasta County in 2002 from Homer, Alaska. She was a retired business consultant for Thrift Village Inc. in Renton, Wash., and a member of the White Center Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2568 in Seattle. Survivors include son Rick Moore of Redding; daughter Patti Wallace of Homer; sister Gladys Mohr of Seattle; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
