Botelho passed in 1979. and Grandmother soon after. Now that I am grown, widowed and looking for relatives that might know if I am related and how. As I understand, only recently, dad had a son who was adopted before he married mom. Although, he may not want to be identified or contacted. It is just nice to know, that I would like for him to meet me once.

Check out some of the Adoption websites. Do you know a date and a place? Most states, adoption records are still sealed and the person may not know they are adopted. If you don't know the original date, try to find out at least a year and month and place. California has a place in their general websites where you can look for adopted siblings...a kind of message board...I don't know about other states.
