Alana Secord Brandt was born November 7, 1951 in Edmonton, Alberta to Alan and Vera Keltie. She moved to Burlingame in 1953 when she was two years old. She grew up in Burlingame and graduated from Aragon High School. She was married in 1976 to Roger Brandt. They had three children and lived in Burlingame for 20 years. Alana enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, home decorating, traveling, tea parties, good times with friends, and fashion. She was an employee at Sequoia Hospital for 20 years in various departments. Alana was a loving mother to her three children, Scott, Kristina, Sarah. She supported and encouraged them in all their endeavors. She was a devoted sister to Rosemary Posch and maintained a loving relationship with her husband, Roger. Alana also had many close friends with whom she shared travel adventures and special gatherings to celebrate various events. She will be dearly m! issed and forever remembered for her kindness, her wonderful laugh and fun-loving nature. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 415 EL Camino, Burlingame, at 2 p.m., on December 19, 2004.
