He was 91. A native of Chickasha, Okla., he had lived in San Francisco for 40 years and in San Mateo for 7 ½ years. He grew up on his parents cattle ranch, established his first automobile agency in Chickasha in 1920 and continued in the business in New Mexico, Colorado and California. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in San Francisco. He was the widower of Trollie Corzine Baker, to whom he had been married for 68 years, and the father of the late Gerald and Geraldine Baker, twins who died in infancy. Survivors include his daughters, Betty Best of San Mateo, Mary Gray of Santa Clara and Zoe Stockton of San Jose; a sister, Emma Herrington of Odessa, Texas; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Crosby-N. Gray & Co., Burlingame, through Wednesday evening. Private services will be held with burial at Olivet Memorial Park, Colma. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
