Martinson, 80, of 388 Gardenside Ave., South San Francisco. She died on Thursday at a Menlo Park convalescent hospital. A native of Minnesota, Mrs. Martinson had lived in South San Francisco for 21 years. She was the past Grand Matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Minnesota and was a member of the Women’s Society of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of South San Francisco. Surviving are a son, Allyn Martinson of South San Francisco; a sister, Irma Paddock of Richland, Wash.; a brother, Edward Lasky of Minnesota; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 500 Miller Ave., South San Francisco. Interment will be private at Olivet Cemetery.
