Fawcett, 58, of Foster City, died at home on Monday of an illness. He had lived in San Mateo for 36 years. A native of Westlock, Alberta, Canada. Fawcett was the former president of San Mateo Travel. He was a member of the San Mateo Elks Lodge No. 1112, B.P.O.E., and the Foster City Lions Club. He is survived by three children, Michael of Orangevale, Lisa of Foster City and Ingrid Lough of San Mateo; two brothers, Joseph of England and William of Canada; five sisters, Maureen Lintott of England, Winifred Upham of Pleasanton and three others living in Canada; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at the Sneider & Sullivan Home in San Mateo. The family prefers contributions to the American Cancer Society. Interment will be in England. ** FAWCETT – In Foster City, July 21, 1896, George L.
