CROWLEY Private services were held at the Redwood Chapel in Redwood City for Charles C. Crowley of Redwood City, a former resident of San Mateo, who died Tuesday at Sequoia Hospital following a long illness. Crowley, 70, was a native of Newfoundland. He retired in 1979 from Culligan Development Co. of San Mateo where he worked as a maintenance man for 10 years. He and his wife, Stella, celebrated their 50th anniversary in October. Also surviving are two sons, Clayton Crowley of Redwood City and Frederick Crowley of Delaware; a daughter, Estell Boulduc of Vermont; four sisters, Florence McLean, Marcella Trueheart and Hattie Mugford, all of Massachusetts, and Emily Paul of New Hampshire; a brother, Reuben Crowley of Costa Mesa; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
