Descendant of historic California families, Giraldo as a young man was sheriff of San Benito and Monterey counties. He was a descendant of the Castro and Pico families, who were among the early California settlers. Besides Mrs. Leendertsen, he is survived by a son, Eugene Giraldo, president of the United Nationalities of San Francisco, and another daughter, Lillian Masters of San Francisco. A requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9:30 o’clock tomorrow morning at St. Kevin’s church, Cortland avenue and Ellsworth street in San Francisco. Interment will follow at Holy Cross cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being made by the James H. Riley & Co. mortuary.
